Coulter Young will be participating in a master painters plein-air workshop at Wethersfield Garden in Amenia, NY from August 14 - August 17, 2014.  Andrew Lattimore leads this workshop.

Wethersfleld is a 1,200 acre estate located in Amenia, NY.  It's main house and garden sit a top the highest elevation point in northern Dutchess County offering the most exquisite panoramic views. It is a perfect place for any plein-air painter or anyone who wishes to take in the natural beauty of the northeast.  (Click  here to learn more about Wethersfield....)

Once again I will be supporting Shattemuc Yacht Club, 46 Westerly Road, Ossining, NY, in their 5th annual Plein-air Paint Out and Auction on Saturday, August 2, 2014.

There will be a preview of the artwork to be auctioned from 3:30 - 5pm.
The live auction begins promptly at 5pm.

Please be aware that 50% of the auction's proceeds will benefit Shattemuc Yacht Club's sailing academy.

Coulter Young will have five large expressionistic portraits in the Beacon Room at BAU, 506 Main Street, Beacon, NY, 12508.

The show runs from August 9 through September 7, 2014.

In addition to Coulter's work, artist Art Murphy will be exhibiting his work in Gallery #1.  His show is entitled, "Abstract/ Concrete." Artist Erica Leigh Caginalp and Ivan Sanford will be exhibiting their work in Gallery #2.

There will be an artists reception on Saturday, August 9, 2014 from 6-9pm.
