Woodblocks pressed by a giant steamroller!
As part of the Garrison Art Center's 50th Anniversary Celebration, the Art Center launched Rollin on the River, a FREE community printmaking festival. With the Landing serving as a print bed and a construction steamroller as a press, artists and community groups created large-scale block prints in front of the Art Center. The public was invited to witness and celebrate this colossal creative act amid hands-on activities for all, big and small--plus picnicking and music down by the riverside.
